Happy Holidays!
Well everybody, it’s been a long year. So many things have happened that it’s hard to take it all in. We’ve had births and birthdays, marriages, and graduations. I am surprised that we come through it all so well. Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year. I hope things go well for you as it has done for us this past year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!
Shopping for food
This year we plan to have a great Christmas. I went shopping today and decided to buy a ham. I bought the spiral kind that is already cut. I was able to find all the other things we needed as well. I want to have a great Christmas dinner and I think it will be one of the best we ever had. There is nothing like a good day of cooking to get that holiday spirit.
My daughter is really interested in learning a few cooking tricks this year. She has been very helpful around the kitchen and I have showed her some of the tricks I have learned over the years. She soon will be able to prepare a great meal all on her own. I am very proud of her and think she’ll pass on the family recipes to her own children one day!

With privacy being a big issue these days, the company Facebook has listened to its customers and made some changes in the choices their customers have for privacy. The new changes will allow users additional options to control who can view their photos and entries. There have been some abuses of this in the recent past and Facebook wants to ensure that people feel safe while using their service. I am glad that they have installed the new options and encourage Facebook users to check them out!

Since kids these days play so many video games, someone came up with a great idea. By putting together games that feature education, the kids can have fun while learning a thing or two. “Immune Attack” and “Moon Base Alpha” are two new games that use thinking, math, and science as part of the games. This way, kids not only have a good time, they also build their knowledge. I was thrilled to hear that these games will soon be available and plan to help my kids with some fun learning!
