Let’s Ski
We haven’t had much snow around here, so I’ve decided to take a weekend trip a little further north and go skiing for the weekend. I’m taking off from work half a day to get an early start on the drive to West Virginia and I hope to get to the resort around 9:00 pm. I lose an hour just from the time zone change to Eastern time and if I’m lucky I won’t lose much more time stuck in traffic going around Knoxville. I hate Knoxville rush hour – it is as frustrating as any other big city, but if I leave at noon I should just beat it.
The resort in West Virginia is very small but they are nice and kept up nicely. I can’t wait to hit the slopes and then the hot tub. I need a nice break from all this stress at work and skiing is just the ticket.

We had a great time at a party last night at my good friend, Connie’s house. She is a hoot and really throws great parties. We met years ago when we ended up assigned by luck to the same bowling league team. The other two women on our team are also good friends. We don’t all bowl anymore but are are good friends forever!
