My title would be about Christmas

My title would be about Christmas

So many people in the world forget that Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ. This time of year is supposed to be a blessed time and we should all be giving thanks for what we have, not for what we think we need as a person or what we want

People today forget what life is really about and that is people loving people. That idea has been so lost in time it just seems like no one remembers how to do it. So, coming from a person who really loves people, have a safe, happy, and blessed holiday as well as happy new year.

A good sale

A good sale

One item in the news today was that authorities held an auction of financier Bernard Madoff’s possessions. Madoff was convicted on a number of charges for his masterminding a giant ponzie scheme. He is currently serving life in prison. The sale of these items will go to help repay the investors who lost so much.

The items included shoes and bedding. There were also a number of watches sold as well as furniture, pianos, and artwork. The sale seemed to beat expectations and went very well. I’m glad that the people he swindled will get a little back from the man who stole it from them.

Halloween aftermath

Halloween aftermath

Halloween has long been one of my favorite holidays. I love the idea of dressing up as anything I want to be. This year I dressed up as a witch as I handed out candy to all the little kids who came to my door. I had a blast seeing the kids dressed up in all manner of styles.

I guess I underestimated how many kids would come. We had just enough candy to give to them all. I was glad we had enough for everyone and the night was a huge success. Now all that is left is to take down all the decorations and store them away for next year!
