It was a great race yesterday as Calvin Borel rode Super saver to a 2 1/2 length victory at the 136th running of the Kentucky Derby. After a heavy rain, the track was in a muddy condition as the gates opened and 20 horses took off. The winning time was 2:04.45 which was not bad considering the track condition.

It was great to witness this wonderful event and I look forward to the Preakness to see if we have a possible Triple Crown winner.
