Great New Duet

Great New Duet

There were ads all around town last year about a new TV reality series held by CMT called, “Can You Duet?” When I saw the billboards, I though immediately of my good friend, Leslie Ellis and her singing partner Casey Kelley. I thought they would be great on the show and would most likely win. But she didn’t participate.

One of the other couples that did participate have used that exposure to launch their career as a country duo. Have you heard of Joey and Rory? They are awesome, real, down to earth people who are extremely talented singers and songwriters. I love them both!

Loving Groundhogs

We all love the groundhog today. It’s the only holiday devoted to a rodent and we all make a really big deal about it. What else are we supposed to do on a cold winter day after we’ve already had months of cold weather and dark, gloomy skies? We need a holiday and the groundhog is a great excuse for a holiday, eh.

In Pennsylvania, today is the cause of a big annual celebration, with tuxedos, top hats and a crowd of thousands that want to witness the defining moment of Punxsutawney Phil emerging from his burrow and seeing his shadow or not.
